Jay Kipps live musical performance at Mochaberry Cafe
February 8th, 2018, 6pm to 8pm
Venture in and enjoy a craft beer, glass of wine and a bite to eat while you listen to his classic rock and Americana style music.
Jay, having played at iconic Toronto venues like, The Dakota Tavern, Lee’s Palace and Horseshoe Tavern, has opened for Fred Eaglesmith as a featured guest at The Vaudevillian and even played at the 2015 Pan Am Games torch ceremony.
Jay has been a staple performer at the Orangeville Blues & Jazz Festival, entertaining audiences there since 2014. He and his band recently opened for The Trews at Bushstock in Norfolk County. He has also shared the stage with the likes of Jeff Healey, The Northern Pikes, Connor Gains, Bill Poss, Paul Reddick, Catl, Jerome Godboo, Sean Pinchin, Alfie Smith and many others.
In The Hills Magazine…”reminiscent of some great country rock from earlier decades. Original music to get your head bobbing and toes tapping. This band plays with a grove that is solid yet lazy…they can also rock…just as exciting in person as they are in the studio.”
Tuned Loud Magazine…”personality that is genre-bending and both looking at the past and future at the same time…all that truly needs to be said is Download this!”
Beach Sloth Magazine… “With a raw visceral approach the Jay Kipps Band goes for a nearly physical style drawing from wide variety of genres, from classic rock to Americana with the blues helping to anchor all of it.
You definitely won’t want to miss this special solo appearance!
